Our life has been seriously lacking without a certain handsome gun-slinging U.S Marshal. Not to mention one of the best bromances on TV. Fortunately the wait is finally over. Justified returns tonight with a bang and a whole new crew of shady characters to shake up Harlan, Kentucky.

So what new baddies will be keeping Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) busy this season? We went to the cast for scoop…

Killer Next Door? "They don't seem well-behaved," Timothy Olyphant says of the show's new additions. That's an understatement if we've ever heard one. The new season of Justified brings some new faces to shake up Harlan and inevitably cause Raylan some misery. Robert Quarles (Neal McDonough) is a smooth-talking shark in an expensive suit sent from Detroit to secure the seedy underbelly of the Kentucky hamlet. And trust us when we say this guy is very dangerous; McDonough has us on edge every time he steps on screen.

Another new face is "banker" Ellstin Limehouse (Mykelti Williamson), and the former business associate of Mags Bennett (Margo Martindale) is the hardest to get a read on. But Williamson sums up his character quite terrifyingly: "You know how you see on the news something really awful happened and then everyone in the neighborhood said, 'I had no idea, he seemed like such a nice guy.' That's this character." That can't be good news for the neighbors.

Bonnie and Clyde: Spoiler Alert! Despite taking a not-so-nice bullet to the chest, Ava (Joelle Carter) lives to see another season. Phew! Good thing too, because Ava's romance with Boyd (Walton Goggins) is definitely one of the best things to come from the odd former in-laws. Goggins tells us what the key to a romance in Harlan really is: "I think for true love to be found in Harlan you need to have the same last name." All joking aside, Boyd is adorably protective and out for vengeance when it comes to his girl: "The most important person in Boyd's life is Ava. And it's interesting that love, that finding great love, ironically, will be his great salvation." Or his great downfall. This season lovebirds are working the business together, which can only spell danger.

Start Up Company: The tensions in Harlan are at an all time high. With Mags Bennett out of the picture this season, there is a scuffle for control of Harlan's lucrative crime business. Carter tells us: "They couldn't just bring Boyd back and let it be easy and have him rule what his daddy once had. So now he has to come face to face with these characters that can stand toe-to-toe with him."

Back for More: Don't worry, the influx of new characters doesn't mean some of our old favorites are gone for good. You might be pleased to know the season welcomes back the new surprising alliance of Dewey Crowe (Damon Herriman) and Dickie Bennett (Jeremy Davies), and the welcome return of young scene-stealer Loretta McCready (Kaitlyn Dever). Even Judge Mike Reardon (Stephen Root) will be back, and no, it's not just for a trial. Root tells us that the little bag of money Winona (Natalie Zea) stole last season will be back in play.

With the new season of Justified upon us, there is so much to look forward to. Believe us when we tell you that a baby on the way, more than one character gets thrown in the slammer and a very shocking death is just the beginning of the drama. It's going to be a great ride.

Justified premieres tonight  at 10 p.m. on FX.
