Attention: We do not throw around the term "game changer" lightly. Oh, no, no.

But when you see what goes down on tonight's Ringer? Well, let's just say it totally fits the bill.

We sneaked a peek at the hour, which just might be the most surprising yet, and got scoop from the show's big bosses on the upcoming twists in store, plus how long Jason Dohring will stick around...

"Will Gemma be a friend or a foe? Will she be an ally or an adversary?" That is the main question going into tonight's Ringer, according to co-creator and executive producer Eric Charmelo. At the end of last week's episode, viewers were shocked when Bridget (Sarah Michelle Gellar) revealed her true identity to Gemma (Tara Summers), Siobhan's (SMG again!) best friend. And if you think that cliffhanger was good, just wait til tonight.

Don't expect the rest of Ringer's character to clue in now that Gemma has been invited into the secret-keeping club. "Just because the secret's out to one person doesn't mean it's out to the collective," Charmelo says, who adds that Siobhan is just as capable of revealing her secrets.  "One sister may reveal while the other sister doesn't, so the two may no know who has told one another so that's a part of the fun."

Speaking of Siobhan, who is currently working on her mysterious and, we assume, diabolical plan to exact revenge, don't expect to see her stay in Paris for long. "She'll realize that she'll need to move around in order for things to work out the way she wants them to," Charmelo hints. "Being sedentary is not in the cards for her." As for her partner she's always on the phone with, Charmelo says "that will be answered very soon."

So will the sisters eventually cross paths? "Yes, that's all I will say," executive producer Pam Veasey says. "Sooner than later."

As for Bridget's little pregnancy problem (you know, the fact that she's not actually pregnant), Charmelo teases, "At this point, she'd probably be close to two months, so she has to come up with a plan. Her options are get pregnant, fake a miscarriage or get pregnant! (Laughs) If she's not already pregnant. She was a stripper!"

Veronica Mars' Jason Dohring makes his highly-anticipated Ringer debut in next week's episode as Juliet's (Zoey Deutch) teacher "whom she see as an ally," Charmelo coyly says. While they wouldn't say if the show was heading for a teacher-student pairing, Veasey says, "Juliet does like her teacher." We're hearing Dohring is expected to appear all throughout season one. We're also hearing that he's awesome as Mr. Carpenter.

Gellar's Buffy costar Amber Benson will guest star in an upcoming episode and her role is a far cry from the soft-spoken Tara. "She is a stripper that was a coworker of Bridget's when she was stripping, " Charmelo says. "She's seen better days."

Ringer airs tonight at 9 p.m. on the CW.
