Gosselins Talk Divorce on Jon & Kate Plus 8 Season Premiere
In what proved to be one of the rawest and most real reality-show moments of the year, Jon and Kate Gosselin discussed the D-word in a teary interview on last night's season-five premiere of Jon & Kate Plus 8 on TLC.
As seen in the clip above, Kate, wiping tears from her eyes, said, "Parents of multiples have triple the divorce rate, and [we were] thinking we were gonna beat that. But I don't know if I can say that anymore."
When asked flat-out what the future holds for the troubled couple, Kate said, "I wish I knew." A solemn Jon added, "I don't know. I really don't know."
In a statement today, the couple said: "As many couples do, we are navigating a very difficult time. Our current situation brings us together around the children and some times sets us apart. We keep our faith that we will make the right decisions for our family."
