Did our wishes for the 69th Annual Golden Globes come true? Kind of.

There were certainly nominations that made us do our weird happy fist-pump chair dance, but others got our aggravated face palm. We break down the triumphs and the snubs for this year's Golden Globe nominations…

There were lots of nominations we were happy and pissed off about, but we picked the ones that put us in the biggest glass case of emotion. You guys can add yours in the comments section, because we know there's lots to talk about.

The Good:

Homeland Love: Showtime's freshman drama was completely ignored by the Screen Actors Guild, but the Golden Globes avoided that mistake. Not only was it nominated for Best Drama Series, but both Claire Danes and Damian Lewis got acting nods.

New Girl: Our favorite zany group of friends (besides Happy Endings and Psych of course), gets nominated in both Best Comedy Series and in the Best Actress category. Zooey Deschanel is so lovable as the geeky but beautiful Jess, and if only we can get her together with Nick (Jake Johnson), 2012 will be good living.

Madeleine Stowe: Revenge was clearly one of our favorite new shows of the TV season, and Stowe is definitely a shining star among a very bright cast.

Amy Poehler: Do we really have to explain this one?

The Bad:

No Love for Community. None: Everybody, stop ignoring this show!

Snubs for The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad: The fact that these three shows got little or no recognition this year from the Golden Globes makes us feel a little sick to our stomachs. Boss is a good freshman series, but is it truly better than TWD, SOA and Breaking Bad? And a handful of other drams worthy of nods this year? In what TV universe?!

Evan Peters Left Out: If he can make American Horror Story's Tate a likable sociopathic killer, he deserves a nomination.

The WTF?

Callie Thorne: Hey, we like Necessary Roughness as much as the next guy, but she took a spot that could've gone to Friday Night Lights' Connie Britton or SOA's Katy Sagal or Maggie Siff. A pretty awful TV crime when you think about it, right?

Emmy Winners Dissed: Both Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons and Mike & Molly's Melissa McCarthy were left off the nominations list. It's quite unusual to see Emmy winners ignored at Golden Globes time, especially since this was McCarthy's big year. And Johnny Galecki over Parsons surely got fans all fired up.

Steve Carell Snubbed: Seriously? His last season as Michael Scott should not be in vain. Talking about you, Emmy voters!

No Friday Night Lights Anywhere: W. T. F.?!

We really could have gone on and on and on about each category, but we didn't want to deprive you all of voicing your opinions. So let it rip! What did you like about the Golden Globe nominations, and what are you seriously foaming at the mouth over?
