Fizbo is no exception: Clowns always have a dark side!

In a decidedly different role for Modern Family's favorite clown-daddy Cameron, Eric Stonestreet, who joins American Horror Story this Wednesday. And here's the fun part: You AHS fans will tooooootally relate to his character, because he is tortured by scary stories to the point where he cannot sleep. Sound familiar? Yup! It's precisely what those evil geniuses Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have been doing to us with their scary-as-hell FX show.

So how creepy is Fizbo Cam Eric on AHS? Check out our exclusive first-look video::

"Here piggy, pig, pig!"

Chalk that up as one phrase I won't ever be uttering when looking in the mirror.

In this episode, Eric's character is obviously a patient of Ben's (Dylan McDermott), and Ben will help him confront his deep-seated fears of urban legends. Now, given how the shiznit usually goes down in this house on AHS, we're guessing it's not the most ideal locale, and you best have your couch cushions on hand to hide behind.

Stonestreet's American Horror Story episode airs this Wednesday on FX.

Excited to see Eric in this non-Cam role? Will Mitchell ever be able to look at him the same? Join us in the comments!
