"If House and Goodfellas had a baby, that baby would be named Grace Devlin."

So says Jordana Spiro (My Boys) about her character Grace Devlin, who is stuck in quite the predicament in Fox's new medical-crime drama The Mob Doctor. Does that sound like a baby you might want to hang out with? Good news for you, then, because we've got an exclusive first look at the series…

Spiro's character has to start moonlighting as a doctor for a less-than-savory group after her brother (Jesse Lee Soffer) gets into a sticky situation with the wrong crowd. That wrong crowd being the Chicago mafia. It's a series about double lives, crime, family and of course, intriguing medical cases that we can't seem to get enough of.

Oh, and Friday Night Lights' Zach Gilford is in it, too, which meant we were going to watch it before we even knew the concept of the show.

Check out our exclusive first look at The Mob Doctor below!

The Mob Doctor, which also stars William Forsythe, Zeljko Ivanek and James Carpinello, premieres this fall on Fox.
