In this exclusive sneak peek at the documentary, Lovato speaks honestly about learning to celebrate herself and her journey to battle her demons…
"One of the hardest things was learning I was worth recovery," she says. "And I'm allowed to celebrate it, which is a great feeling."
In this first look clip, Lovato has an impromptu dance party with her tour mates on the bus after a show. After many months of somberness while publicly dealing with addiction, it's nice to see a smile on her face.
She also talks about her plans for after tour, even if she isn't quite sure what they are yet. One thing she does have planned for every day for the rest of her life is continuing her recovery. Because as she poignantly reminds us: "Recovery doesn't have a day off."
