Are Hilton's Sisters Headed for Real Housewives?

Kyle and Kim Richards, former child actors who are Kathy Hilton's younger sisters and aunts to Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton, could be the stars of Bravo's upcoming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The Richards sisters are lower-profile than their superfamous Hilton relatives, but they travel in circles no less tony.

According to a TheDailyTruffle.com source close to the project, "Bravo wanted to build the cast around some Hiltons. Yes, Kyle is one of them. I think Kim, too. But it ain't over [until] the fat lady sings."

Could this really happen? What do the Richards women have to say for themselves? Here's what we're hearing about plans to expand the supersuccessful Bravo franchise...

When E! News asked Kim Richards, a twice-divorced 45-year-old and mother of four, about starring on the show, Richards told us, "Possibly...I'm on a really tight gag order so I can't say anything else."

Kyle Richards, 41, who is married and has four daughters, is no stranger to reality TV. Richards has already appeared on niece Paris' shows The Simple Life and My New BFF. Kyle Richards did not return E!'s requests for comment.

Kim and Kyle both acted in major motion pictures and TV shows throughout the 1970s. Kyle had a recurring role on Little House on the Prairie; Kim appeared in the short-lived series Nanny and the Professor and the cult-fave kids' movies Escape to Witch Mountain and Return to Witch Mountain.

Sources tell the Daily Truffle that production on the Beverly Hills version of the Housewives franchise would begin in March; the cast would have a 10-month commitment. Bravo is continuing with callbacks now for the remaining spots on the show.

Bravo would not confirm reports linking the Richards sisters to the Housewives franchise. A rep for Bravo tells E! News, "We haven't made any announcements about this...we don't have anything else to add at this point."
