Clark County Detention CenterVince Neil took a walk on the wild side, and now it's gonna cost him.
The Mötley Crüe frontman has struck a deal with Las Vegas prosecutors that will see him plead guilty to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge and pay a $1,000 fine stemming from his arrest for allegedly manhandling a former ladylove during an altercation back in March.
The good news?
Neil's attorney, David Chesnoff, confirmed to E! News that in return for the guilty plea, prosecutors have agreed to drop the more serious count of domestic battery, which could've netted him six months in the slammer.
"Mr. Neil is sorry he raised his voice," the legal eagle said.
The 50-year-old rocker got into this mess after he confronted ex-girlfriend Alicia Jacobs, an erstwhile TV reporter, at a March 24 Hal Sparks gig at the Las Vegas Hilton.
Jacobs told E! News that shortly after their seven-month relationship ended (after Neil spent 10 days in jail for a 2010 DUI no less), a drunken Neil stormed into the theater, threatened and screamed profanities at Sparks and her friends, then "poked" her hard on the shoulder, leaving a bruise.
Jacobs reported the incident to security who in turn informed Vegas P.D. about the dustup. The "Without You" singer was interviewed a few days later and subsequently summoned to court to answer to the battery and disorderly conduct charges.
Neil is scheduled to formally enter his plea Nov. 7, the day for which Justice of the Peace Melissa Saragosa set a bench trial after postponing the original date of Aug. 8.

UPDATE Nov. 7, 2011: A lawyer for Neil has enetered a guilty plea to misdemeanor disorderly conduct in a Las Vegas court today. The rocker did not attend the hearing in which the judge accepted his plea deal and dismissed the more serious charge of battery. The case is now closed.
