Usher, Alicia Got Soul

First Usher and Alicia Keys collaborated on "My Boo." Then they collaborated on sweeping every music awards show out there.

The artists picked up two individual awards apiece Monday night at the Soul Train Music Awards and shared a third award for Best R&B/Soul Single by a Group or Duo for "My Boo."

Fresh off her quadruple win at the 2005 Grammys, Keys captured the Soul Train award for Best Female R&B/Soul Single for "If I Ain't Got You," as well as Best Female R&B/Soul Album for The Diary of Alicia Keys.

Usher, who nabbed three Grammys last month, won Best Male R&B/Soul Single for "Confessions Part II" and Best Male R&B/Soul Album for Confessions.

He also shared the award for Best R&B/Soul or Rap Dance Cut with Ludacris and Lil Jon for "Yeah!"

Unlike Keys, Usher was there in person Monday night to accept his hardware--something that's become old hat in recent months.

At the Billboard Awards in December, Usher racked up 11 wins, including Male Artist of the Year, while Keys cashed in with seven, including Female Artist of the Year.

The "Yeah!" singer also swept November's American Music Awards, notching four wins, including Favorite Male Artist in both the Pop/Rock and R&B Soul categories, while Keys won Favorite Female Artist in the Soul/R&B Category.

Though Usher and Keys dominated the Soul Train Music Awards, several other groups and artists managed to sneak a win in edgewise.

Destiny's Child picked up the award for Best R&B/Soul Album by a Group or Duo for Destiny Fulfilled, and Jay-Z took home Best R&B/Soul or Rap Music Video for "99 Problems."

The Soul Train Music Awards take its name from the long-running television showSoul Train. Winners were chosen by radio station professions, talent managers and performers.

The awards were taped at Paramount Studios in Hollywood and will air Mar. 12.
