Ugly Betty's Becki Newton Has a Baby!

It's a boy for Becki Newton!
The Ugly Betty star and her hot hubby, Chris Diamantopoulos, welcomed a son last month, their rep tells Us Weekly. No further details were immediately available.
Newton, 32 announced in July that she was expecting her first child together after five years together. In a true romantic tale, the duo met in a Times Square subway station and hit it off.
Her new TV show, Love Bites, is due to debut next year on NBC.

Ugly Betty Bit Player Charged With Murder in Mom's Death

The New York actor accused of hacking his mother to death with a sword has been officially charged with second-degree murder. He did not enter a plea when he was arraigned Friday from the hospital prison ward where he's been undergoing a psych evaluation since the Nov. 23 slaying.
Brea, who had small roles in Ugly Betty and Step Up 3-D, wove a whole "I killed the demon inside her" theory for the New York Daily News, but prosecutors apparently aren't buying it.

You might have heard that an Ugly Betty actor is suspected of murdering his own mother with a samurai sword in Brooklyn.
That's partially true. Michael Brea, a New York small-time actor is in custody for the gruesome slaying. But ABC is doing its darndest to distance itself from the suspect, insisting he only had a blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance in the show, calling him "just a guy in the background."

She said adios to Ugly Betty, now America Ferrera is saying hola to real-life love—and that's a beautiful thing.
The Emmy winner is set to tie the knot with longtime beau Ryan Piers Williams, her rep confirmed to E! News.
There's no word yet on a wedding date for the super low-key couple, who met while both were students at the University of Southern California (he cast her in his student film, the rest, as they say…)
But while she's keeping mum on her big news, the 26-year-old bride-to-be couldn't hide her engagement ring, proudly showing off the diamond at the Edinburgh Film Festival last night, where she was premiering The Illusionist. Congrats!

America Ferrera was sad last night. Ugly Betty had its final wrap party.
Ferrera and company gathered at Room Service in New York City to say goodbye to the series, which ends later this month after four seasons.
Ferrera was joined by Eric Mabius, Judith Light, Ana Ortiz, Mark Indelicato and Michael Urie, among others, according to a fellow partygoer. (Vanessa Williams was expected to show up after her performance in Broadway's Sondheim on Sondheim, but our spy left before she arrived.)
