Twilight si aggiudica 12 nomination ai Teen Choice Award 2009

Twilight sarà anche stato snobbato agli Oscar, ai Golden Globe, e ad altre cerimonie di premiazione, ma la storia sui vampiri ha riscosso un enorme successo fra i ragazzi!

Il film romantico con Robert Pattinson si è aggiudicato ben 12 nomination ai Teen Choice Award 2009, fra cui quelle per Miglior film drammatico e Miglior commedia romantica.

High School Musical 3: Senior Year e Gossip Girl ne hanno ottenute 10 ciascuno, così come Miley Cyrus. I Jonas Brothers, fra i presentatori dello show, si sono aggiudicati 9 candidature.

Inoltre, la famiglia di E! è stata votata in ben quattro categorie — Miglior reality show con Al passo con i Kardashian, Miglior partecipante donna a reality con Kim Kardashian, Miglior show in tarda serata con Chelsea Lately e Miglior personalità televisiva con Ryan Seacrest di E! News!

Come trofei per l'11ª edizione dell'evento verranno consegnate delle riproduzioni a grandezza naturale di una tavola da surf, nel corso dello speciale di 2 ore che andrà in onda l'11 agosto sul canale  Fox. I fan dai 13 ai 19 anni potranno votare i vincitori sul sito TeenChoiceAwards.com.
