Do we spy a bump?
Nicole Richie is once again the subject of pregnancy rumors, having been photographed this week with the merest hint of a rounded belly. And since the last time her expectancy status was questioned she was carrying what turned out to be son Sparrow, the idea that she and hubby Joel Madden are awaiting child No. 3 isn't too far-fetched.
Then again, Richie's always been a fan of the flowing silhouette, and a bit of rumpled fabric around the midsection is, especially when you're famous, often mistaken for a bun in the oven.
But hang onto your empire waists, kids, because this rumor is...
So false!
In fact, the only thing Richie is pregnant with is disgust.
"Contrary to recent speculation, I am not pregnant," she said in a statement to E! News. "This irresponsible reporting continues to feed an atmosphere of self-doubt and insecurity. To publicly point out a change in anyone's body is mean-spirited and cruel. People's bodies change and change again. This is not newsworthy and is a waste of valuable media space that should be used for more important issues."
At least we just blamed the fabric!
So the Madden-Richie brood still comprises only Sparrow and big sister Harlow for now. Carry on, family...carry on.
