What a gracious son-in-law, right?!

After inheriting millions from his late mother Princess Diana on his 30th birthday, reports claim that Prince William took it upon himself to spread the wealth and help Kate Middleton's parents purchase a home in Berkshire estate by putting down a deposit for the $7 million house as a gift.

So sweet, but did it happen?

Before you sign that check, you should probably know that this story is...

So false!

"I can tell you that the duke and duchess aren't in the process of buying any house," a source tells E! News.

Now, being the gentleman that he is, this doesn't rule out the idea that Wills would offer up the dough to help Carole and Michael Middleton buy the place, but as of right now, there are no royal home purchases in the works.
