Maybe witnessing his brother's married life struck a chord for the Kings of Leon guitarist?

A tweet from Jared Followill's account was sent out yesterday saying, "I just got married in Ibiza. Witnessed by @dougc2001 & Cassandra Marie. Please welcome Mrs. Stephanie Followill. Now going on my honeymoon!"

So should we get ready to curse the world for having one less eligible bachelor on the market?

It turns out the KOL bandmate did not actually tie the knot and didn't even send out that tweet! So who dare play with our emotions?

"About to take off for NY. Just saw my last tweet. Looks like @dougc2001 got me again. Have to start locking my phone. Still on the market," Followill tweeted (no really, it was him this time).

But before we count our lucky stars, we also spotted lots of tweets going back and forth with rumored love interest Ashley Greene.
