Travis Barker Jets Away From Crash Suit With Hush-Hush Settlement

Travis Barker just got a little more closure and presumably a lot more compensation from last year's fatal Learjet crash.

The Blink-182 drummer, who is now the sole remaining survivor of the event that killed four and spared the lives of himself and DJ AM, has settled his negligence suit with the various owners and makers of what he deemed a "defective" aircraft.

The terms of the settlement were not disclosed, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Superior Court tells E! News, and the documents have been sealed.

The mysterious deal, which was noted in documents filed last Thursday, was reportedly hashed out during a Nov. 18 mediation session involving the respective legal teams of Barker, Clay Lacy Aviation, Goodyear Tire & Rubber and Global Exec Aviation.

Barker first filed suit against the companies on Nov. 22, 2008, and was seeking a minimum of $25,000 in damages, placing blame for the fatal crash on the failure of one or more tires on the runway, as well as the pilot's "negligent attempt to abort the takeoff."

A similar lawsuit filed by DJ AM earlier this year is still pending. The late spinner was seeking a payout of roughly $20 million. A mediation conference is set for this Wednesday.
