Tori Ties the Knot!

Beverly Hills, 90210 grad Tori Spelling, whose virginal Donna tied the knot with long-suffering boyfriend David in 90210's series finale, traded "I dos" in real-life Saturday with actor-writer Charlie Shanian not far from the ZIP code she helped make famous.

The not-so-secret nuptials generated plenty of ink in recent days, with Spelling spilling to USA Today last week that the wedding was going to have "a Great Gatsby kind of feel. That's the dream I've always had."

This time the role of Gatsby was played by proud papa Aaron Spelling, the 81-year-old TV mogul behind such long-running shows as The Love Boat, Charlie's Angels, Fantasy Island and 90210, who hosted the wedding at his sprawling estate in the ritzy enclave of Holmby Hills.

It's the first trip down the aisle for both Spelling, 31, and Shanian, 34. Both later posed for pictures holding their pet pooches.

No further details were immediately released. However, the entire wedding was buzzed by paparazzi helicopters, which snapped away at the celeb-studded bash, documenting the procession of Tori and her pink-clad bridesmaids, and Aaron giving away his daughter.

According to USA Today, Spelling wore a gown of her own design, "a form-fitting, white lace" number. Wolfgang Puck catered the reception, Michael Feinstein provided the soundtrack and guests received a special candle molded in the shape of a mini champagne bottle to commemorate the day.

About 400 guests made the trek to the Spelling mansion for the ceremony, including enough old-timers to make up a Love Boat special: Paul Anka, Jackie Collins, Bob Newhart, Don Rickles, Stefanie Powers, Ed McMahon, Suzanne Pleshette with husband Tom Poston and Motown mastermind Berry Gordy were all on hand, according to USA Today.

Saturday's ceremony also served as a 90210 reunion of sorts. Although Tori skipped out on last year's made-for-TV get-together, she did invite several of her old Peach Pit pals, including Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering and Tiffani Thiessen.

Reportedly absent from the guest list: 90210 bad seed Shannen Doherty, as well as Gabrielle Carteris and Luke Perry.

"I love Tori, but we don't hang out," Carteris, now 43, told USA Today. "I haven't seen her, but I hear [Charlie's] a nice guy."

Perry, who played hunk Dylan McKay on the show and is currently in the London production of When Harry Met Sally, said that had Spelling invited him, he would have "serenaded her on her wedding day." The 38-year-old actor, still apparently down about marriage after ending his 10-year union with wife Minnie Sharp last year, offered some unsolicited advice last week to the new bride: "Don't do it."

Garth and her hubby, Peter Facinelli, one of the stars of HBO's Six Feet Under, planned to share a ride to the ceremony with Thiessen and her boyfriend, actor Brady Smith. Thiessen gave the groom high marks.

"I honestly couldn't love Charlie more," Thiessen told USA Today. "They're so wonderful together. [He] treats her like the queen she needs to be treated like."

Spelling and Shanian first met two years ago while the pair costarred in the Los Angeles production of his two-person play, Maybe, Baby It's You. The couple got engaged last November and registered at Williams-Sonoma immediately thereafter (where the bride asked for an automatic espresso machine worth $1,800).

Last week, Spelling told USA Today she knew her fiancé was "the one" because "he waited for me."

Since moving out of 90210, Spelling has appeared in such films as The House of Yes, Trick, Scream 2 and Scary Movie 2, as well several TV movies. She also recently did a sitcom pilot, So Downtown, that never made it to series.

No word where the newlyweds will be honeymooning. Our suggestion? Fantasy Island.
