Tori Spelling Reties the Knot
Tori Spelling is a married woman. Again.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum tied the knot with Canadian actor Dean McDermott Sunday in Fiji, People magazine reports.
The couple were the sole attendees at their nondenominational ceremony, in contrast to the reported million-dollar festivities with which Spelling celebrated her first trip down the aisle.
"We didn't want to wait another day to get married," the actress told People of her low-key nuptials, at which both bride and groom wore white and went barefoot.
Spelling's divorce from ex-husband Charlie Shanian was finalized Apr. 20, clearing the way for her second marriage. McDermott's split from his ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, was finalized in February.
"I've never had as much of a desire to get married and make a woman my wife as I've had with her," McDermott told People of his new bride. "The feeling is overwhelming. We're soul mates."
The newlyweds met last year on the set of television movie Mind Over Murder. They became engaged in December.
"We're so incredibly happy and in love. We cannot wait to start our lives together," the couple said in a joint statement to People at the time.
McDermott has further expressed his devotion to Spelling through body art--a tattoo on his wrist reads "Truly, Madly, Deeply, Tori," while his shoulder features a portrait of the actress.
Though the couple have claimed their respective splits had nothing to do with the other party, Eustace, for one, isn't buying it. According to the New York Post, she is currently shopping a book proposal called My Husband Left Me for Tori Spelling.
In the proposal, Eustace slams her husband of 12 years for leaving her just months after they adopted a baby girl together and alleges that at the time he got the tattoo on his wrist, he didn't even have the money to pay his electricity bill.
Spelling and McDermott issued a joint statement to the Post, calling the book proposal "opportunistic and undignified."
Spelling currently stars in VH1's So NoTORIous, a faux-reality series based on her life, while McDermott's most recent credit is the TV movie that brought the twosome together.
