Today Makes a Creepy Amy Winehouse Mistake

Amy Winehouse Video

We all make mistakes, but...really?

Like all the other morning shows, NBC's Today devoted a lengthy segment to Amy Winehouse's untimely death Saturday at the age of 27.

At one point, footage of fans and onlookers gathered outside her London flat over the weekend transitioned into a clip of her "You Know I'm No Good" video. But that's not what the caption said.

"You Know I'm Dead" is what Today errantly called the song in the caption at the bottom of the screen.

Sure, sometimes people hear a prominent lyric in a song and wrongly believe it to be the title. But in this case, there is no such lyric throughout the entire tune, which Winehouse performed via satellite, along with "Rehab," at the Grammys in 2007.

London Metropolitan Police confirmed earlier that an autopsy performed today proved inconclusive pending the results of toxicology tests, expected to be available in two to four weeks.

Us Weekly is reporting that Winehouse's family will hold a private funeral for her tomorrow.
