Our long national Philly-based nightmare is over.

Earlier this week, Roots drummer Questlove sent Tina Fey a big old helping of unsolicited beef, and just a day later—timing is everything—the 30 Rock star plopped herself down on Jimmy Fallon's sofa and cleared the air with the house band.

And let's just say, conflict resolution never tasted so good.

"We should just get some of this tension out here," the Late Night host said not long after welcoming Fey out. "It's a little tense."

"I got to work yesterday, normal day," Tina began, "and I get there and everyone else is like, 'Oh hey, you gotta check this out, you gotta look online…Questlove is saying some bad stuff about you on Watch What Happens Live.' And I was like, 'What? No. Not Questlove!'"

Unfortunately, it was yes, yes Questlove, who called out his fellow Philadelphian while chatting with Andy Cohen Monday, saying, "Tina Fey, you are never nice to the Roots!"

Turns out, Tina was just as baffled by the bad blood as the rest of the country.

"I was like—I was at work, and I was like, 'What is Quest talking about?' Cause usually, and you know me, usually if I'm a superbitch to someone, one, there's a reason, and two, I remember doing it.

"I am from Philly, so I had a very Philly reaction, I was like, I'm gonna kick his ass."

Fallon eventually turned to Questlove for an explanation.

"We tried to say hello to you last time and you….it was a misunderstanding," came the response. (Well, the on-air response, as he already tweeted earlier this week that his comments were "a joke.")

"Certainly this show's like family to me, can't have any bad blood," Tina said, "So I don't know what happened, it was a misunderstanding, but I think there's only one thing…Quest, you know what we have to do, we have to do the Philly ritual, we have to bite the hoagie of forgiveness."

Yes, you read that correctly.

As a peace offering, Jimmy then presented the duo with an extra large hoagie roll with the works, and held it up between the duo to simultaneously bite into and, well, we don't know what. Chew away any bad feelings?

"With this hoagie, I thee friend," Questlove proclaimed before taking his bite.

As if that weren't enough, the Root also offered up one final gesture of goodwill to Fey, handing over his hair pick. Which she proceeded to wear for the remainder of her interview.

Now play nice, kids.
