The honeymoon is over.

A month after celebrating their wedding with ceremonies in several cities, Grammy-winning rapper/Takers star T.I. and his R&B-singing wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, logged quality time in a Los Angeles-area jail after getting busted on drug charges late Wednesday, E! News confirms.

The duo got into trouble during a traffic stop, when cops smelled marijuana wafting from the car windows. (Hmmm, seems vaguely familiar...)

"Deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle," said Los Angeles Sheriff's Deputy Mark Pope. "A narcotics investigation ensued" that resulted in the arrests at around 11:30 p.m. on Sunsent Boulevard in West Hollywood.

They were jailed on twin counts of suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. The substance in question has not been identfied.

Both T.I., 29, and former Xscape vocalist Cottle, 36, were released about 4 a.m. on $10,000 apiece.

Their arraignment has not been set, but will take "a minimum of 60 days," according to the Sheriff's Department.

The bust could spell big trouble for T.I. The star, whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., is currently on parole following his 2008 his conviction on illegal weapons charges. He spent seven months in prison and then 90 more days in a halfway house before being released in March.

Per the terms of his sentence, any kind of violation would result in addition time behind bars. There was no immediate comment from the federal prosecutor overseeing T.I.'s case.

This much we know: the King of the South better hire a good Lawyer of Los Angeles.
