Every franchise Team Truth loves has come together...and nothing combusted.

Well, we combusted in excitement, but no one was hurt. Sure, Twilight star Kristen Stewart may have verbalized the inner goddess of the Fifty Shades of Grey character she inspired, Anastasia Steele, but now the woman who created it all, Stephenie Meyer, is sounding off on the raunchy saga.

Oh yeah and she's revealing her pick for Finnick in Catching Fire. Can you even handle this much excitement?!

As you loyal readers know, Fifty Shades began as Twilight fan fiction, and ever since the sadomasochistic saga became an overnight sensation, we couldn't help but wonder whether Ms. Meyer should feel totally flattered or particularly peeved.

After all, Fifty Shades wouldn't exist without Steph's initial idea.

"I haven't read it. I mean, that's really not my genre, not my thing," Meyer 'fessed to MTV News. "I've heard about it; I haven't really gotten into it that much. Good on her—she's doing well. That's great!" What a positive outlook, Steph! The Twilight babe didn't even toss in a subtle diss at the raunchy read, proving she really is flattered to be the source of E.L. James' inspiration.

And dare we say it's a win-win for all parties involved! Steph's beloved Bella and Edward can live on forever and E.L. James can tackle all those post-teen sex scenes that would make the Mormon Ms. Meyer blush.

What's more, Stephenie's not even taking credit for Fifty's success, and she seems more than happy to let E.L. James have a chance in the spotlight (besides, Meyer's moved onto aliens if you didn't know):

"It might not exist in the exact form that it's in," Meyer said to MTV News. "Obviously, [James] had a story in her, and so it would've come out in some other way."

And we bet all you mommy porn lovers out there are glad James had the guts to pen the pornographic prose! But even though Steph's not a fan of the deliciously dirty read (shocker), she is sounding off on another series: The Hunger Games! And Meyer admitted she's a "super fan" of the series:

"I was really excited they were turning it into a movie. Of course, then you have that, 'Are they gonna screw it up?' 'cause it's so awesome, but they didn't; it's awesome. I'm really looking forward to the next one. I have fingers crossed for a couple of casting choices."

So, what might those casting choices be?

"Taylor Kitsch," she suggested for the District 4 tribute, Finnick Odair. "Is there another option?"

We couldn't agree more! It's almost as if Ms. Meyer's been checking out our casting couch suggestions...

But anyway, as we eagerly wait for The Hunger Games sequel, we suggest Stephenie gets familiar with the filthy Fifty Shades franchise she so brilliantly inspired.

Come on, Steph, go get your inner goddess on—we dare you.
