We know you die-hard Notebook fans are still pining over Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling as much as we still secretly are.

So what a delish New Year's treat it was to hear that Rachel was talking about her mucho-adored (and très abtastic) former costar-turned-BF in her latest interview with Glamour magazine. Well, until we read it, that is.

Seems when it comes to on-set canoodlings, Rachel says it's a total no-no. Come again?!

"A set may seem like a good place for romance, but I don't think it's very conducive," Rach—who dated Gos, of course, and is now seeing her Midnight in Paris costar Michael Sheen—told the mag when asked if sets spark romantic vibes for her.

She continues: "It's too distracting. Every relationship I've had with a coworker has come after the fact, because you wind up actually spending a lot of time with those people promoting the movie."

Details, shmetails, babe. Some of your hottest (and longest) romances have been born from sets. So don't knock it!

But those of you hoping for a McGosling relaysh reunion—even though we've told you a gajillion times that it ain't gonna happen—may at least feel a little consoled that Rach seems to only have good wishes for Gosling and his...feminist icon status?!

"Feminist icon? Wow! Is that real?" Rachel responded when the magazine told her about blogs such as the aptly named Feminist Ryan Gosling. "Oh my God, that's great."

And equally LOL-worthy.

Oh well, guess we're just happy to see both of these former love birds happy again...in relationships that started on-set (despite what Rachel might say).

But if you forced us to make a guess as to which relaysh might last longer, Rachel and Michael or Ry and his The Place Beyond the Pines costar (turned cemetery companion turned car make out buddy turned NYE party pal) Eva Mendes, well, we think that answer is obvious:

The one you see less of, of course.
