Let's Cast The Hunger Games! Who Should Play Peeta Mellark?

There's been so much buzz over who should be cast as Katniss Everdeen, The Hunger Games heroine, that we're neglecting her totally hot counterpart, Peeta Mellark.
So far one name has been thrown around a lot as a potential for the 16-year old blue-eyed, silver-tongued hero:

Alex Pettyfer, Dianna Agron's delicious bad boy ex (despite how much he claims otherwise).
Looks-wise, gotta say this casting could be pretty dead-on. Peeta is a teenager with a medium height and stocky build with ashy blond hair that falls in waves over his forehead.
And really, how drool-worthy is A.P.? But personality-wise, we're not entirely sold this is the best fit.
See, we hear from sources that are familiar with Pettyfer professionally that those rumors Alex has a major attitude and can be quite difficult to work with on set aren't far off.
In the book, Peeta strikes us as someone who is very loving, self-sacrificing and rarely moody.
Alex told Access Hollywood he has met with producers about the role of Mellark but is "undecided" until he sees a script.
Since this isn't set in stone, might we recommend some other guys into the mix?
How about Weeds hottie Hunter Parrish?
Physically he looks the part and the abtastic guy is a totally goodie-goodie behind the scenes. Peeta is from a family of bakers, so the guy needs to have some meat to him. Some blogs say Parrish is a contender and so far, this is our number one guy.
We could kinda see Chord Overstreet with those piercing eyes and sexy hair. But we're not entirely sure about his acting chops…maybe worth bringing him into audition, Lionsgate?
Or maybe Skins actor Mitch Hewer? He certainly looks the age and has the hair!
Damnit, or maybe it should just be Alex Pettyfer, after all? So confusing!
