The initial reviews for The Hunger Games are in and they're, well, pretty damn good.

So for the last of you Twi-hards still hoping your flick will come out on top, ya better start praying to the Kristen Stewart powers, 'cause Ms. Jennifer Lawrence is taking the franchise world by storm and guess what?

She's more than ready to rock the movie's second round.

OMGames, could she be any cuter?!

"I actually can't wait to go back. It's a character I would love to revisit. I think if you sign on to the right franchise [you're OK]," J.Law admits in an interview with Moviefone before adding, "I don't feel like a slave to anyone."

Is that so, Jen? And it seems that Katniss herself indeed signed on to the "right" franchise. Considering Jen also auditioned for Twilight, and initial Hunger Games reviews have far exceeded anything Twilight accomplished in terms of critical acclaim, we're sorta guessing Jen's happy she chose this par-tick role to sign her life away.

'Cause no doubt, Jen's fame has skyrocketed to a whole 'nother level, and the bow-and-arrow-clad beauty admits she had plenty of hesitations first taking on the pivotal part:

"When I was almost going to turn this down because it was too big, my mom told me I was being a hypocrite, because I loved the story, loved the characters and I truly believe in the message that these films are bringing," she explained.

And thank gawd for Mama Lawrence! Jen is par-fait for the role, and after watching her stunning performance on the big screen, we must admit: No one could pull off Katniss like Jen.

So as we let the positive reviews keep pouring in, we can't help but say how refreshing it is to hear a young actress so humbled by her experience:

"I really don't feel like I'm being tied down to it… I'm proud to put my name to it," J.L. admitted when asked how she originally overcame her hesitation.

So with nothing but admiration for Jennifer's performance, we'll leave you with her last fleeting thought on those endless Twilight comparisons:

"I'm not worried about it. I like the Twilight movies," Jen revealed.

OK, so there's no battle between the leading ladies, but if there was a feud, we're guessing J.Law would have the last laugh.

Just sayin'.
