Courtney Love may be a Twitter mess, but she still knows how to put on a performance (be it a hot mess of a performance).

Love played a private show at exclusive music bar Don Hill's in Soho, New York Saturday night to a smallish but packed crowd. So how many times did she tell the crowd to f—k off? And who was a surprise CL fan in the audience?

Shockingly Court, super sweaty in a black tank with a leopard print bra clearly showing, only told the crowd to "s—t the fuck up or I'm walking off stage," a few times in the middle of her set, which by the way, she was an hour late for.

However, the guests didn't seem to mind cheering loudly during songs like Malibu, Make Me Over and Lady Gaga's Bad Romance.

After taking a break between songs to smoke a cig on stage with her red guitar dangling from her neck, Court swayed and slurred a little bit but managed to end her set by covering Gaga's hit. And it was pretty bad-ass.

Sure, Lady G probably does it a tad more put together, but there was definitely some alcohol-fueled intensity as Love belted out the cover. The crowd totally dug it, especially Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio.

AA, who was sipping on beer out of a bottle (what other model could do that during Fashion Week), was singing and dancing along at a table near the front all through Courtney's set. Love!

Elsewhere, fellow supermodel Naomi Campbell was also on a mostly liquid diet, eating a late dinner at Lavo restaurant in NYC, which of course isn't even technically open yet. Campbell had the restaurant put a table together for about 10 friends to celebrate Fashion Week.

Says a fellow diner:

"Naomi didn't drink, but her friends all cheersed and since it's bad luck to cheers with water she dipped her finger into her friend's wine glass and put a drop in her water to toast."

Who knew Na-Na was superstitious?

"She looked so fabulous though. She exudes supermodel."

Meanwhile Joseph Gordon-Levitt, in a tee and jeans, was spotted walking around Soho being adorable and un-papped with a fellow guy friend in tow.

Being a celeb is so different in NYC, due in large part to the lack of stalkarazzie. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart should move there stat.
