Sorry, People, but this is two years in a row now that you've ticked us off by choosing the wrong dude to be named Sexiest Man Alive. Isn't that très coveted title supposed to be for the sexiest, most talked about, most popular man of the year?

We thought so. But Bradley Cooper doesn't fit that definition. So who do we think is worthy of this title?

How about the über-hot, crazy talented Ryan Gosling?

Duh. It's who we thought should have the honor last year. And this time we're even more positive that it should have been him. Hello, he even made the cover—just in an itty-bitty insert.

How very disrespectful to Ry's hotness. He deserves better!

Now don't get us wrong, in no way, shape or form are we saying that Brad-boy is a dog. We totally think he should be on the list. But the coveted title? We think not, at least not this year and here's why.

Let's just compare for argument's sake:

We'll start with hit movies. Ry Gos has been blowing up the big screen in 2011. How about his red-hot romance with Emma Stone in Crazy Stupid Love? Or with Carey Mulligan in Drive? Or with George Clooney in The Ides of March?

Wait...that last one wasn't romance, was it?

Now before you start bitchin', we didn't forget that The Hangover Part II came out...but we wish we could forget.

And as for tabloid talk? While Bradley was linked to Jennifer Lopez earlier this year, that seems to have been a blink-and-you-miss it "relationship."

But R.G., the man that every woman (and man) wants, has been heating up the rumor mill, being linked to Eva Mendes , Blake Lively and most recently Rooney Mara . Now that's just a tad steamier than a pic in a car with J.Lo, wouldn't you agree?

And as for, ya know, the sexiness factor? Sure, Brad-boy can speak French, but we'll let Ryan's abs do the talkin' any day.

So, let us know what you think! Did People get it wrong again? Sound off in the comments below.
