—Pals to Maria Shriver, who hosted Kate Gosselin as an invited guest to her Women's Conference in Long Beach, Calif., this week.

While Shriver's amigas were perfectly gasping in admiration at more lofty babes such as Katie Couric, Madeleine Albright and Elizabeth Edwards, many of these bitchy babes apparently (and completely) refused to bow to Shriver's request that they treat Gosselin, well, not as a bloodsucking, child-whoring reality star. Guess it didn't work!
