Mother's Day is only a few months away, but one par-tick celeb mommy needs to brush up on her parenting skills if she wants (or deserves) any prezzies. Seriously, someone needs to read Lynne Spears' book on how to properly raise kids! (Lynne Spears, included.)

Jenny G. took Violet and a blond nanny-type to a Dan Zanes & Friends—the U2 of kiddie music—performance at UCLA's Royce Hall Sunday morning. Garner chitchatted with the nanny most of the show, while most of the other kids ran up to the stage for a booty-shakin' dance party. But not baby V. She and mommy G didn't get out of their seats until nearly the end of the show. So V settled for bouncing in her mom's lap. Did Jenny not want her daughter up there, gawked at by the tons of eyes that would recognize her? You never know with this cagey broad.
Now, not only is Jen potentially teaching her child it's better to miss out than to get noticed, she's doing it without daddy around. And where was Ben, you're wondering? Anywhere else. That's all ya gotta know.
