Warning: This post may contain material that is simply too hot to handle.

OK, now that's out of the way, we can give you the deets that sent our swooning hearts into sexual overdrive: yes, we're talking Alexander Skarsgård and the deliciously dirty novel Fifty Shades of Grey.

It's no secret A.Skars has been our top choice to play Christian Grey in the pornographic plot, but what does the True Blood hunk think about signing on for the raunchy role?

"Where do I sign?" the sexy Skars smirked when Access Hollywood asked him how he felt about playing Christian Grey in Universal's big screen adaptation of E.L. James' bestselling novel Fifty Shades of Grey.

Holy hunk of Swedish hotness, we literally could not be more excited about the possibility of A.Skars playing this racy role. We've been saying for weeks that Alex is totally perfect for this par-tick role—he can pull off the bad-boy schtick (thank you, Eric Northman) but he also has that softer side to make the romance with Ana totally believable.

Not to mention Skarsgård's already well schooled in stripping down for the cam (True Blood's been serving up a shirtless and pantsless Skarsgard for the past four seasons), so we know he'd be über-comfortable with all that onscreen nudity and sexual content.

What's more? Eric Northman and Christian Grey already have a dirty little secret in common—besides that dominance thing Skars is so damn good at.

"He's got a sex chamber? My character has that on True Blood," Skarsgård exclaimed. "He's got his little dungeon."

Look like this character match is simply meant to be! Now we just need the par-fait Ana to star alongside Skars and we've been gunning for a good gal like Lily Collins—can you imagine how deliciously divine those sex scenes would be?!

Either way, we seriously hope Universal gets on board with Mr. Skars because he's already amped for the raunchy role and big screen striptease:

"I was born to play that part," he admitted to Access with a grin.

Uh, tell us something we don't already know. #Skarsgårdforfifty—let's get this topic trending.

What say you Awful readers? Are you excited about the possibility of Skars as Christian Grey? Who do you think should star as Ana? Sound off below!
