Terrence Is Lookin' for Love—and Celeb Life Is Oh So Suite

Terrence Howard needs a girlfriend.  

When the Hustle & Flow star hit On 3 Productions' Access Hollywood  Golden Globes suite at the Sofitel Hotel on Saturday, he was asked if he wanted to check out the free women's shoes from Nine West. When he politely declined, a staffer pleaded, "You can get some for your girlfriend." 

"I don't have a girlfriend," Howard said. "I need one, though." 

Seconds later, he was asked again to pick things out for his girlfriend. This time it was sexy undergarments from Bali. After explaining again that he was single, he teased the young women with some kinky talk. "Maybe I can get some stuff and bring it home," he said. "I can try it on in the privacy of my own bedroom." 

Um, okay. 

The always charming Mr. Howard kept on, introducing himself to one very fetching dark-haired young lady. "Your nature," he cooed, "is so simple and calming." 

Howard then made his way over to the CVS area, where he scooped up some men's body scrub and lotion.

Meanwhile, other suites were just as hopping all through Golden Globes weekend. 

At Kari Feinstein, Lindsay Lohan, Ali Larter and Jessica Alba were given new laptops from Melrose Mac. Paris Hilton did Jekyll & Hyde shots with Seth Green at the Budweiser Select Bar. Pregnant Jaime Pressly promoted her J'Aime by Jaime Pressly clothing line but also managed to pick out birth announcements from Tiny Prints. 

Babies and kids were the big hook at Mattel's Boom Boom Room gifting suite. Angie Harmon went gaga for the Greco strollers by Cynthia Rowley. I'm told Carnie Wilson actually cried—yes, cried—when she was given a Just Too Cute princess tea cup chandelier for her babe. 

Lohan also hit Silver Spoon, where she walked away with jewelry from Leylove, cashmere tops from Magaschoni and Dermalogica beauty products. 

And tonight, Kathy Hilton will try to outshine daughter Paris. The heiress' mom browsed the Platinum Guild jewelry suite at the Luxe Hotel in Beverly Hills on Saturday, reports Planet Gossip's Matt Donnelly. She found a jacket to wear to the Globes—make that a $1 million jacket. The black silk chiffon number by Lazare Kaplan is decorated with platinum and—drumroll, please—a whopping 3,000 diamonds! 

Donnelly also reports that Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman walked away from the Platinum suite with a Kirk Kara diamond and blue sapphire necklace worth about—another drumroll, please—$8,000!

Best Life magazine did something completely different. While most of the awards shows suites are usually geared toward women, Best Life set up a very chic men's lounge at a $5 million home in the Hollywood Hills. When I stopped by on Friday afternoon, I didn't see anyone test-driving the Aston Martin that was on display, but I did see Kip Pardue trying on Nicole Fahri sweaters and a pair of silver and blue Asics sneaks.
