SYTYCD's Shane Sparks Pleads Not Guilty to Molesting Kid

Shane Sparks claims he's the real victim and intents to prove it.

The influential hip-hop choreographer of Fox's So You Think You Can Dance pleaded not guilty today to eight counts of felony child molestation resulting from his arrest last December.

Sparks, accompanied by defense attorney Steve Meister, entered his plea but otherwise did not address the judge, nor did he talk to reporters following the hearing.

Meister also declined to comment, but back in December told E! News that the 40-year-old hoofer was innocent of the "bogus accusations" and was the victim of "opportunism and exploitation." At the time, the attorney expressed confidence that his client would be vindicated at trial.

All told, Sparks faces six counts of committing a lewd act upon a child and two counts of oral copulation of a person under 16.

Sparks, who aside from his SYTYCD gig is also a judge on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew, was taken into custody Dec. 18 at his North Hollywood home following allegations that he had molested the unidentified teenager more than a decade ago. Sparks remains free on bail.
