History Channel Swamp People star Mitchell Guist has passed away.
It appears the alligator hunter suffered a seizure and subsequently fell while loading items into a boat on Monday morning in St. Martin Parish, La., according to WAFB-TV.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office tells the local television station that Guist was taken to Teche Regional Hospital in Morgan City, where he was pronounced dead.
An official cause of death will be determined pending an autopsy.
Guist was featured along with his fellow alligator hunter, brother Glenn, on the History Channel show, now in its third season.
