"Survivor" Brian Slapped Around
Survivor's soft-porn stud Brian Heidik has so far managed to outwit, outplay and outlast his Thai island teammates, but the tattooed contestant faced his biggest rival back home.
Heidik's wife, Charmaine, was arrested last month and charged with spousal abuse, according to The Smoking Gun.
Cops hauled the castaway's wife off to the slammer on November 17 after a heated argument broke out between the couple at their home in the Los Angeles suburb of Quartz Hill, per a Los Angeles police report.
Slaphappy Charmaine was left to stew in a cell for two days before being released on her own recognizance. A superior court judge allowed her to return home, in the company of a sheriff's deputy, to pick up her belongings.
This isn't the first time the Heidiks have made headlines. Brian's steamy past was exposed in August. The suburban family man had left several of his X-rated credits off his CBS résumé, including titles like Virgins of Sherwood Forest and The Pleasure Zone.
Like her strapping 34-year-old husband sultry Charmaine has starred in a variety of soft-core porn movies according to The Smoking Gun. She appeared on last Thursday's episode of Survivor, which was taped five months ago, during a segment in which several family members were allowed a brief on-camera conjugal visit with their stranded loved ones.
Charmaine is due in court December 16, three days before Survivor's finale, and could face up to a maximum of a year in jail if convicted.
Even if Charmaine goes free, it's unlikely the feuding couple will reunite. At her arraignment last month, the 30-year-old was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from her playboy-turned-used car salesman husband and, according to court documents, may not "own, use or possess any dangerous or deadly weapons."
With the Sook Jai tribe gone, Thursday's episode is down to five remaining Chuay Gahns, Brian, Clay, Helen, Jan and Ted, who will battle it out to see whose tiki torch makes it to next week's season finale. The two-hour Thai finale will be followed by the usual reunion show. Unlike last year, the reunion bash won't be emceed by gushing Rosie O'Donnell, long-suffering host Jeff Probst will be on hand to celebrate and commiserate with the Survivors.
The reality series' sixth installment will take place in the South American jungle early next year. CBS officials refused to confirm an air date.
