What have they done to Matthew McConaughey?

Our favorite oft-shirtless actor has been totally slimmed down and smoothed over—aside from his hair, that is—in the new advertisement for The One Gentleman, the new fragrance from D&G. And frankly, we don't recognize the guy.

Maybe we're just gotten used to the ab-tastic actor like this and this and this, but...

We just don't get him with this sophisticated slickster makeover. (His dapper son Levi, however, is a natural for formalwear.) Seriously, this is a naked bongo-playing dude whose own J.K. Livin line sells board shorts, flip-flops and camouflage beer can coolers. We like that about him, so why try to change him?
