As we told ya about the other day, before you see Rooney Mara in Social Network and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, you can check her out in next month's The Winning Season.

Mara plays Wendy, a high school basketball player who hooks up with Joel, an older stripmall shoes salesman in his '40s (Winter's Bone actor Kevin Breznahan). In one scene, the two are making out, but...

They're interrupted when her enraged basketball coach (the always awesome Sam Rockwell) walks into the store. After grabbing Mara, Rockwell clocks Mr. Pervy in the nose with his elbow.

"He's fine," Rockwell says as he pulls a shocked Mara out of the store. "I'm sure it happens to him all the time."

Joel makes a feeble attempt to fight back by throwing a shoe—a flat, to be exact—at the coach.

The indie flick, out Sept. 3, stars Emma Roberts as the team captain while Rockwell's character is the Midwest town's former high school basketball hero.
