SJP + HBO = TLA

The Sex may be gone, but Sarah Jessica Parker and HBO are still in bed together.

The former Sex and the City practitioner has signed a two-year agreement with the pay cable network to develop and produce series and long-form programming.

"I'm overjoyed to be able to officially call HBO my creative home, and I'm excited to continue of the most rewarding and inspiring collaborations I've had the privilege to experience," Parker said in a statement.

The multihyphenate will supervise various projects through her Pretty Matches Productions.

"We are thrilled to be partnering once again with Sarah Jessica Parker, whose great talents and unique sensibilities will guide a new generation of cutting-edge programming for HBO," said the network's entertainment president, Carolyn Strauss, who unveiled the deal.

As an executive producer of SATC, Parker's used to being in charge.

In 2001, she was part of the producing team that won an Emmy for Best Comedy to go along with three straight Golden Globes for Outstanding Comedy Series.

But it wasn't until last year--in the show's swan-song season--that Parker finally scored that long-coveted Emmy Award for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Manolo Blahnik-obsessed sexpert Carrie Bradshaw. She had to make room in a trophy case already stocked with four Best Actress Golden Globes and a Screen Actors Guild Award for her Sex playing.

Tuesday's announcement did not elaborate on whether Parker had any particular projects in the works for HBO.

Not that she won't be busy in the coming months. Parker, who turns the big 4-0 on Mar. 25, has extended her run as Gap pitchwoman and announced plans last month to launch a signature fragrance line.

She also has her dayjob to worry about. She appears in the upcoming comedy Strangers with Candy, which garnered acclaim when it premiered at January's Sundance Film Festival, and is currently filming the Christmas-themed comedy-romance The Family Stone with Diane Keaton and Claire Danes. She'll then segue into Failure to Launch, a romantic comedy costarring Matthew McConaughey.
