This is now officially a real life wife swap.
After Shania Twain was burned by her husband of 14 years, Grammy-winning producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, who left her for her former BFF Marie-Anne Thiébaud, the devastated singer turned to Marie's broken-hearted hubby, Frédéric Thiébaud, for support.
Yada yada yada, now Shania and Frederic are ready to get hitched, E! News has confirmed.

Thiébaud, 40, a Swiss Nestlé business exec, popped the question nearly two months ago, while the duo were in Switzerland, Twain's rep tells E! News. But their engagement became public when Twain, 45, stepped out wearing the engagement ring last week at Serafina's in New York.
Us Weekly was the first to break the betrothal news.
The couple's road to bliss came after they had leaned on each other in the wake of their exes' apparent hookup. Lange had abruptly abandoned Twain in 2008 when he fell for Marie-Ann Thiébaud, who was also Twain's best friend and closest confidante. Twain and Lange have a 9-year-old son together, Eja D'Angelo.
At the time Marie-Anne had denied any betrayal, telling E! News that she's not to blame.
"[Frédéric] is a dear friend and true gentleman...We leaned on one another though the ups and downs, taking turns holding each other up. We've become stronger and closer through it all," she wrote on her official website at the time.
Twain is also set to pen her autobiography, where she most likely will tell spill all on her love affair and reveal the juicy details of her marriage's collapse.
No word yet on a wedding date.
