Thomas Horn has officially met his No. 1 fan.

While on the red carpet at the 2012 Palm Springs International Film Festival over the weekend, the young breakout star of Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close found his interview with E! News briefly interrupted by none other than Angelina Jolie!

But that certainly wasn't a bad thing...

"Hey, I've heard you're amazing," a beaming Jolie told Horn regarding his performance in the 9/11-themed film. "Very, very nice to meet you. It's an honor."

Brad Pitt's better half went on to ask the 14-year-old if he's been doing a lot of these types of events, to which he replied: "It's the first."

"Are you excited or is it weird?" inquired a still-smiling Jolie.

"It's weird, but exciting, I guess," replied Horn, who was discovered by producers of the movie when they saw his winning 2010 appearance on Jeopardy! during Kids Week.

"You should be really, really proud," insisted Jolie. "My kids already think you're cool, so I'll tell them I met you and they'll think I'm cool."

Well, after seeing this little exchange, Angie, we all think you're pretty cool!
