Sean "Diddy" Combs Hosts Birthday Bash for His Ex

We're happy to report that Sean "Diddy" Combs and ex-girlfriend Kim Porter—the mother of three of his children—really have remained friends.
So much so that Combs threw Porter a private birthday party last night at Murano restaurant in West Hollywood.
The 27 guests included Ellen Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery along with Pompeo's Grey's Anatomy costar Sara Ramirez and Lisa Gastineau. The festivities started at about 8 p.m. and included a four-course meal and a three-berry cake from the nearby Sweet Lady Jane bakery.
The group serenaded Porter with Stevie Wonder's "Happy Birthday." The evening's specialty drink, the K.P. Martini, featured a Ciroc vodka lemon drop with a brown-sugar rim.
Decorated with red balloons and streamers, the bash ended at about midnight.
Combs and Porter called it quits in July 2007 after a long and rather bumpy romance, but their friendship doesn't seem to have suffered.
"They remain good friends," Combs rep said. "They see each other often."
