L’attore inglese Michael Sheen si unirà a Robert Pattinson & Co. in New Moon, il sequel del mega successo Twilight, ha confermato a E! News un portavoce dello studio.
Nel nuovo film, previsto nelle sale questo autunno, Sheen, 40 anni, interpreterà Aro, il leader dei Volturi, una congrega mortale di vampiri.
Sheen è noto più che altro per aver interpretato David Frost nell’acclamato film Frost/Nixon dell’anno scorso e l’ex primo ministro inglese Tony Blair nel premiato La regina (2006) con Helen Mirren.
New Moon non è il primo film in cui Sheen interpreta un mostro: nel 2003 è apparso in Underworld con Kate Beckinsale, con la quale ha una figlia.
