Fresh off her just-canceled TV series, Miss P has officially been cast in Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson's long-awaited reboot, Scream 4. Joining the starlet is Julia's almost equally famous niece, Emma Roberts.
The announcement of Roberts in the potential lead begs the question: what about rumored role-filler, Twilight vampiress Ashley Greene?
A studio source tells E! News: "Despite reports of Ashley Greene being in negotiations to join the cast, Emma was the first and only choice by the filmmakers to play the lead role."
Well at least Greene has her Breaking Dawn bucks to console her.
Original Screamsters Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette are already slated to reprise their roles in the fourth installment of the hit franchise.
