What happened to the Morgans wasn't pretty, but what's happened to the woman who helped Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have their twins was even uglier.
Bridgeport, Ohio, Police Chief Chad Dojack faced a judge today regarding his involvement in an alleged plan to steal things from the home of Michelle Ross, the famous couple's surrogate, and sell them to the paparazzi.
The now off-duty lawman pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor count of dereliction of duty, reports the local Times Leader newspaper. In exchange for the plea, charges of complicity to burglary and complicity to receiving stolen property were dropped.
Dojack's sentencing is slated for next Wednesday, Jan. 13. He faces up to 90 days in jail and a $750 fine—not too shabby considering his co-conspirator and fellow police chief, Barry Carpenter, was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison last month.
