American Idol: Final Four Rigged? We Don’t Think So

Scandal, schmandal. There always seems to be some conspiracy theory, dirty little secret or shocking something when it comes to American Idol. And this season is no different.
The latest? The New York Daily News reported Tuesday that a source told them the final four are already chosen. And they are (drumroll please) Danny Gokey, Lil Rounds, Adam Lambert and Alexis Grace.
But our sources say something else...
"I think that’s just someone looking for attention," one source tells us exclusively. "I’ve been around the show since the beginning, and I personally don’t believe this to be true."
Another set source also says he/she truly doesn’t believe the show is fixed. "I’m not just saying that to be politically correct. I really do believe it to be true. But whoever supposedly leaked it has to be smart because they picked four talented ones to be the last four."
We couldn’t agree more. Well, expect for Danny Gokey. Our final four would be Lil, Adam, Alexis and Allison.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see in May.
American Idol reps have "no comment" on the matter.
