Samantha Harris Expecting a Tiny Dancer
Samantha Harris is hosting for two these days.
The Dancing with the Stars co-emcee and E! News correspondent confirmed Tuesday that she and her husband of three years, Michael, are expecting their first child this fall.
"My husband, Michael, and I are so excited to have our first baby," Harris told E! Online. (E! Online is also owned by E! Networks.) "We just bought our first house and can't wait to share it with our little one. Everyone at E! has been so wonderfully supportive. This is a delightful time in our lives."
Harris told People that she decided to share the good news after her publicist started getting inquiries as to whether the 33-year-old TV personality's curvier-than-usual figure was the result of a recent run-in with a plastic surgeon.
"I did not get a boob job, but I have put on a little weight because I am happy to finally say I am pregnant," Harris said.
That glow isn't all due to the impending motherhood, however. The Minnesota native is also enjoying the good life as cohost of one of the highest-rated shows on the air, ABC's Dancing with the Stars, which is going as strong as ever in its fourth season, pulling in 18.2 million viewers last week.
Harris does not expect her pregnancy to interfere with her hosting duties either this season or next.
