He Said, She Said: Baby-Carriage Edition!
Occasionally, new-parent anxieties can divide even the happiest of couples. Take expectant mom Nicole Richie and baby daddy Joel Madden—these lovebirds have quite a conflict on their hands in the baby shopping department.
This morning on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show, Madden said he's been stacking up on baby products and had even acquired a stroller...at Target. (He also said marriage is in their future, but baby comes first.)
If papa wants to go for cheap and chic, does this mean our girl is checking her Manolo mommy flats at the door? Not exactly.
Planet Gossip cohost Tina Dirrmann says Nicole has her sights set a bit higher—on an $899 Bugaboo Cameleon stroller to be exact, with all kinds of fancy features, including a variety of seating positions and, of course, multiple fabric and color options.
But don't cry for Nic—she could still wind up with the designer baby goods she's got her heart set on. Especially since platinum pal Paris is planning her friend's shower.
"Yes, I'm going to throw her a baby shower," Paris tells Dirmann. "I'm already working on it! It's going to be great."
Fabulous. Only, we hope it wasn't supposed to be a surprise party! If so, we just blew it. Sorry, Nicole!
