Rush Limbaugh OK After Heart Health Scare

There's "nothing wrong" with Rush Limbaugh.

The conservative talk-radio host was forced to cut his Hawaiian holiday short last Wednesday after being rushed to a Honolulu hospital complaining of severe chest pains. However, on Friday, Limbaugh held a press conference stating his health scare was merely a false alarm.

"On Wednesday afternoon, I experienced pain in my upper left chest like I had never experienced before," the 58-year-old explained. But after undergoing "extensive tests," including an angiogram to view the inside of the heart chambers, Limbaugh reported that the Hawaiian medical staff found "absolutely nothing wrong. It was a blessing.

"The pain was real, and they don't know what caused it."

In an effort to keep the subject on his recent hospitalization—and away from controversial topics known to follow him—Limbaugh did not take questions during the conference; he simply encouraged anyone tuning in to seek medical attention in a similar situation.

Limbaugh was released from Queens Hospital in Honolulu Friday and has since thanked supporters via his website, assuring everyone that he "will be back on the radio...sometime next week."
