Dopo aver iniziato come ballerino, Swayze diventò una delle più grandi star del cinema. Durante la sua meteorica salita e una volta raggiunto il successo, ha saputo apprezzare il regalo più raro di Hollywood: un matrimonio felice ed appagante con la moglie Lisa Niemi.
