When in Rome (or, in this case, California)!

Prince Harry, who just arrived in California to complete his Apache helicopter training, wasted no time fitting in with the locals. He and a group of seven friends visited a San Diego area pub for a good ol' fashioned burger. How American of him.

So what did the pub's manager have to say about Prince Harry—or, as he's known in the Army Air Corps, Captain Harry Wales—and his visit?

Ted Taylor, bar manager of McP's Irish Pub and Grill, told People that Prince Harry "sat outside at a picnic table and ate a burger and beer" and "was very personable."

While Taylor said "he was a nice guy," he also pointed out that Prince Harry was "very low-key," and politely declined to take pictures when a couple of girls asked.

However, the prince apparently had no problem playing photographer when asked. According to 10 News, Victor Swircz and Laurie, his soon-to-be-wife, were having their rehearsal dinner at the same restaurant when they spotted Prince Harry. The couple approached the prince and asked him to take a picture, which he declined. Swircz was quick on his feet and thought of another idea.

"'Can we get a picture with your security guard?'" said Swircz. "And [Prince Harry] goes, 'Sure, no problem. I'll take it.' He grabbed my camera and he took the picture of me, Laurie and his security guard whose name was Mark."

After meeting Prince Harry, Swircz tweeted, "Seriously, I'm not joking, I just met Prince Harry and shook his hand!" Hope the honeymoon can compete with the rehearsal dinner!

Also thanks to Twitter (which has made royal-watching that much easier), we know Prince Harry visited the Andaz Hotel in San Diego.

Andaz "was graced w/royalty last nite after a visit from Prince Harry! He enjoyed his 1st nite out at #IvyRooftop w/ 20 of his friends," boasted the hotel, via their Twitter account. According to the hotel, he had a pretty low-key night, during which he "relaxed w/ some drinks while watching rugby."

Here's hoping Prince Harry enjoys the rest of his stay in California!
