Prince Harry recently returned to the U.K. following his helicopter-training in Arizona and California, and they're certainly lucky to have him back.

The redheaded royal appeared at a holiday concert for the Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund at St. Luke's Church in London on Thursday, where he proceeded to give a touching, heartfelt speech.

While addressing those in attendance, Harry thanked the charity for  "keeping the memorial of my best friend alive. He would be hugely proud of what you have done in his legacy," adding that "it's never easy losing someone close to you."

According to the organization's site, both Harry and his brother, Prince William, are joint patrons of the fund designed to improve the quality of education for children in Uganda. It was named after Harry's school friend, who was killed in an automobile accident nine years ago.

Among those at the concert yesterday was Chelsy Davy, Harry's ex-girlfriend. The onetime couple was spotted a few hours later hanging out together at the Brompton Club in London. Not too much of a surprise, though. Despite no longer being an item, Harry and Chelsy remain close.
